Transsylvania Phoenix
The band is born in 1962 at the Second Medium School from Timișoara, Romania and is initially called SFINTII. After a year the name is changed into PHOENIX. They were singing "international hits" of that time, including songs from BEATLES, THE SHADOWS, ROLLING STONES, ANIMALS, and MONKEES. Between 1964 and 1966 they sang at the cantina of the Medicine University from Timisoara, gaining experience and popularity.
