The Wild Oats

There are at least two bands named The Wild Oats. 1. The Wild Oats were a British R&B / beat band of the 1960s. Coming from rural Suffolk they recorded a number of stomping contemporary R&B versions of songs such as Marvin Rainwater's 'Whole Lotta Woman' and the classic 'You Can't Judge a Book By Its Cover'. 2. The Wild Oats were a band that played Celtic and original folk at San Diego, CA, United States-area coffee houses, science fiction conventions, Renaissance Faires and Society for Creative Anachronism events since 1991.
