The Department

There are at least two bands sharing this name. 1) synthwave 2) post-punk 1) A synthwave band, established in 2013 with one foot in London and the other in Gothenburg. inspired by 80's electro and new wave. Rob Green of the Department used to make progressive house records in the mid-90's under several monikers. His records were supported by the likes of Sasha and Pete Tong, he has DJ'd in clubs such as The Hacienda and sold tens of thousands of records. Read more on Last.fm
